MIDDLETON TWP., Ohio — A single-vehicle crash on W. River Road resulted in a fatality on Tuesday evening.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, 59-year-old Alan Magsig of Perrysburg was driving southwest in the 24000 block when he lost control on a curve and left the roadway.
Magsig was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency response units were dispatched, and the roadway was closed for investigation and cleanup.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing. No additional injuries were reported.
