Denver Police Arrest Suspect in Fatal Motorcycle Hit-and-Run
A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Saturday night in Denver, leading to the arrest of the suspected driver.
At approximately 10:41 p.m., authorities responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a red Audi at Sheridan Boulevard and Hampden Avenue. The motorcycle rider was critically injured and later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Witnesses reported that the motorcyclist was part of a group during the incident, and one rider had camera footage showing the suspect’s vehicle, which was traced back to 40-year-old Nathan Eastman.
Police arrested Eastman on Sunday, charging him with vehicular homicide—reckless and leaving the scene of an accident involving death. Authorities confirmed that the final determination on charges will be made by the district attorney’s office.
Eastman has a prior criminal history, including a two-year deferred sentence for felony assault with a deadly weapon and two years of probation for misdemeanor menacing.
