PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A crash early Tuesday on Northeast Lombard Street has resulted in one fatality and one injury.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene near the intersection of Northeast Lombard Street and Northeast 72nd Avenue just before 3:30 a.m. on October 3.
Authorities confirmed that one person died at the scene, while another individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
As part of the ongoing investigation, Northeast Lombard Street is closed from Northeast Cully Boulevard to Northeast 72nd Avenue, and Northeast Killingsworth Street is also closed from Northeast Cully Boulevard to Northeast Lombard Street, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The Major Crash Team is heading the investigation into the incident.
