SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Authorities are investigating a serious motorcycle accident that occurred at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in south Springfield.
The incident took place in the 1600 block of East Republic Road, near the Pat Jones YMCA. A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been disclosed by investigators.
Republic Road has been closed for the duration of the investigation. Emergency response teams are on the scene providing medical aid.
