Two fatal motorcycle collisions occurred in Devon, one on the A379 in Shaldon and another on Pennsylvania Road in Exeter, over the weekend.
According to DEVON AND CORNWALL POLICE, the first incident happened at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian. A woman in her 60s from Taunton, Somerset, died at the scene.
Authorities reported a second collision at 5:10 p.m. on Sunday, involving a van and a motorcycle at the junction of Pennsylvania Road and Stoke Valley Road in Exeter. A man in his 30s from Devon sustained fatal injuries in this incident.
The police thanked the public for their patience as roadways were closed during investigations. Authorities are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information related to either collision.
