Motorcyclist Killed in Janesville Accident at Center and Burbank Avenues

Janesville, Wisconsin (August 7, 2023) – A motorcyclist was fatally hurt after a crash Sunday evening at an intersection in Janesville.

According to the Janesville Police Department, the wreck happened at around 7 p.m. on August 6 at Center and Burbank Avenues.

A motorcycle with two occupants was headed south on Central Avenue when it collided with a truck in unclear circumstances.

Both parties on the motorcycle were rushed to Mercy Hospital, where the rider was declared deceased. The passenger remained hospitalized, and their condition was not immediately disclosed.

The truck driver also sustained injuries.
