SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Local News Wire) – A fatal crash in Minnehaha County claimed the life of a Mitchell woman on January 5.
Patricia Archambeau, 64, succumbed to injuries sustained in a collision on January 3, early morning, while driving on I-90.
Archambeau’s 2012 Chevrolet Traverse was traveling eastbound near mile marker 379, approximately four miles west of Humboldt, when it was struck by a semi-truck also headed east.
The semi-truck, which continued east after the incident, has not yet been located. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
On January 4, authorities released two photos of a red Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck, missing its passenger-side headlight, taken at 2:25 a.m. on I-29 near 41st Street in Sioux Falls, approximately 12 minutes after the collision.
