SIOUX FALLS – Authorities arrested a man following a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle on Sunday afternoon in Sioux Falls.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. on April 12, police responded to a collision at West 42nd Street and South Western Avenue. Investigators found that a 2012 Honda motorcycle, traveling southbound on Western Avenue, collided with a red Audi sedan that entered the roadway from a private drive.
The 44-year-old female motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Witnesses reported that the driver of the Audi, identified as 31-year-old Stephon Hall, fled the scene without assisting the victim. Law enforcement located Hall within three hours, arresting him and booking him into Minnehaha County Jail on charges of felony hit-and-run, driving with a revoked license, and lacking proof of insurance.
