KENNEWICK, Wash. — One person died in a motorcycle crash on State Route 395 at Hildebrand Blvd. late Saturday night.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), a motorcycle was traveling at high speed northbound when it collided with a semi-truck stopped at a red light.
The motorcycle rider was transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead. The rider’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the incident.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash, and no further details have been confirmed.
