OSWEGO COUNTY, NY – A 19-year-old man died in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 southbound near mile marker 112 early on October 30, 2026.
According to the New York State Police, Owen T. Ligammari of Adams was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 when the vehicle exited the roadway into the median. Ligammari reportedly lost control, causing the truck to overturn multiple times.
Ligammari was ejected from the vehicle and was transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities stated that the cause of the crash is under investigation. There were no other vehicles involved, and no additional injuries were reported. Further details on lane closures or emergency response measures were not provided.
