A motorcycle accident on the Flippin Bypass on October 22 resulted in serious injuries to a 52-year-old man from Sachse, Texas.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the collision occurred when a 79-year-old man from Flippin made a left turn into the Animal Clinic of the Ozarks, striking the motorcycle. Both vehicles subsequently came to rest in the clinic’s driveway access.
The injured motorcyclist was transported to Baxter Health in Mountain Home for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was not reported injured. Authorities cited the Flippin man for careless and prohibited driving.
Emergency services responded to the scene, but no lane closures were reported following the incident. An investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
