SPOTSYLVANIA, VA — A motorcycle crash on Thursday night claimed the life of 45-year-old Thomas Bradley Johnson, according to the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.
The collision occurred shortly before 10 p.m. near the intersection of Stanfield Road and Matta Way. Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 9:50 p.m. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities reported that Johnson was traveling at a high speed when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle that was making a left turn. The driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office Traffic Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. No further details regarding the speed of Johnson’s motorcycle or additional circumstances of the crash have been released.
