Torrington Motorcycle Crash Leaves Two Injured
A motorcycle crash occurred on Winstead Road near the Sinkhole Bridge around 7 p.m. Saturday, injuring two occupants.
Authorities reported that the motorcycle was traveling southbound when the driver lost control, resulting in both the driver and passenger being ejected.
The driver, identified as 58-year-old Robert Hackett of Winsted, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he is in critical but stable condition.
The passenger, 54-year-old Kelly Maloney of Torrington, was also taken to a hospital with critical but stable injuries.
The Torrington Police Department is actively investigating the incident. Further details, including road closures and tow information, were not immediately available.
