A motorcycle crash in Cityville resulted in serious injuries on Main Street Thursday afternoon, around 2:41 p.m.
According to the Cityville Fire Department, two victims were found on fire upon arrival. Firefighters and bystanders quickly extinguished the flames. The motorcycle operator, who sustained significant burns to the lower extremities, was initially treated by Ambulance 517.
They were subsequently transferred to Life Star for transport to a specialized burn center. The second victim’s condition remains unconfirmed.
Authorities said the accident involved one motorcycle and no other vehicles. Emergency crews reported no fatalities at the scene.
Main Street was closed in both directions for approximately two hours during the incident response and subsequent investigation.
The Cityville Police Department is currently investigating the incident. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
