ORANGE, Vt. (WCAX) – A 16-year-old girl was killed in a collision between a car and a dirt bike in Orange on Sunday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:10 p.m. at the intersection of Richardson Road and Emery Road.
According to authorities, Kyle Hunt, 23, of Washington, was driving west when he turned in front of an oncoming dirt bike, resulting in a head-on crash.
Kaylee Bailey, the dirt bike operator from Corinth, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hunt was not injured in the incident.
Emergency responders conducted an investigation, which remains ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.
