A 60-year-old man from Walnut Grove, Missouri, died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 160 on Saturday evening, Oct. 17, 2026.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 10:53 p.m. near Ash Grove as the man was traveling eastbound on a 2012 Harley-Davidson Street Glide.
The motorcycle veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. The rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 11 p.m.
Authorities stated the motorcyclist was not wearing safety equipment at the time of the accident.
The motorcycle was deemed totaled and towed from the scene by Missouri Roadside.
This incident marks the 101st traffic fatality investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D in 2026.
