Traffic Collision Injures Four on Highway 101 in Redwood City
Redwood City, CA — A multi-vehicle collision on Highway 101 injured four individuals on October 5, 2023, around 4:15 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved three vehicles traveling northbound near Whipple Avenue. Emergency responders from the Redwood City Fire Department provided medical aid to the injured and transported them to a local hospital.
Authorities confirmed that two of the injured are in serious condition, while the other two sustained moderate injuries.
The northbound lanes of Highway 101 were temporarily closed for approximately two hours while the scene was cleared and an investigation was conducted. A tow company was dispatched to remove the vehicles involved in the crash.
