LEBANON, Ind. — A woman was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday night in Lebanon, according to authorities.
The Lebanon Police Department reported the incident occurred just after 10 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 39 and Anderson Lane. The motorcycle struck a utility pole, entrapping the male driver and female passenger between the pole and the vehicle.
Emergency responders, including police, firefighters, and medics, freed both individuals from the wreckage. The male driver was airlifted to a hospital in Indianapolis in critical condition. The passenger, identified as 29-year-old Nicole King of Lebanon, died after being transported to Witham Memorial Hospital.
A multi-agency CRASH team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
