Woman killed in motorcycle crash in Ohio, according to state troopers.

CLERMONT COUNTY — A motorcycle crash on U.S. 50 claimed the life of a Batavia woman on Thursday night.

Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) received reports of the accident at 10:01 p.m. According to authorities, 38-year-old Emily Koppe was riding a 2013 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight motorcycle southeast on U.S. 50 when she lost control and overturned.

The motorcycle veered off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail. OSHP confirmed Koppe was wearing a helmet during the incident. She was airlifted to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation. No additional details, including passenger involvement or potential lane closures, have been released at this time.
