Woodstock Hit-and-Run Leaves One Dead, Another Critically Injured

WOODSTOCK, ME — A hit-and-run crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle on Sunday night resulted in one fatality and one critical injury, according to authorities.

Oxford County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection of South Main Street and Route 232 at approximately 7:50 p.m. Witnesses reported that the motorcycle, with a 60-year-old male driver and a 50-year-old female passenger, was attempting to pass a gray, four-door diesel GM pickup truck when the truck veered left, causing the motorcycle to lose control.
