Woman Sustains Severe Injuries in Motorcycle Accident.

RICHLAND COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A 44-year-old woman was injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 27 on Saturday, July 18.

Ammie Jo Brash was riding her 2007 Harley Davidson westbound near milepost 42 as part of the annual Fargo Ride to Fight Suicide when her motorcycle struck debris, identified as a large piece of tire tread, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

Brash lost control of the motorcycle and laid it down, resulting in injuries. She was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

Emergency responders, including the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Wyndmere Fire Department, Wyndmere Ambulance, and Wahpeton-Breckenridge Ambulance, arrived at the scene. Brash was subsequently transported to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo for treatment.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
