PASCO COUNTY, FL – A 20-year-old Tampa man died in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon at the intersection of SR-54 and Player Drive.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 3:10 p.m. on July 11, 2026. The man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on SR-54 when a 53-year-old New Port Richey man driving a Chevrolet Suburban turned left onto Player Drive, colliding with the motorcycle.
Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Suburban remained at the scene; no other injuries were reported.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
