LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — A 23-year-old McKee man died Thursday morning in a motorcycle collision on Industrial Boulevard.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. when Joshua Burkhart’s Harley Davidson motorcycle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Chrysler 300.
Burkhart was pronounced dead at the scene by the Laurel County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the Chrysler reportedly sustained no injuries.
Authorities stated that three crash reconstructionists are currently investigating the incident.
Industrial Boulevard was reopened to traffic by 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
