Motorcycle Crash on I-384 East in Manchester Kills One, Injures Another
MANCHESTER, CT — A motorcycle crash on Interstate 384 East late Friday night resulted in one fatality and one injury, authorities reported.
At approximately 11:20 p.m., a 22-year-old man from Manchester was riding a motorcycle when he collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Equinox. Following the impact, both the rider and his passenger, identified as 21-year-old Sariah Isabelle Miranda of Manchester, were thrown from the motorcycle.
As they slid along the highway, authorities stated that Miranda was struck by an additional vehicle. Both individuals were subsequently transported to the hospital; the man sustained minor injuries, while Miranda’s injuries were classified as serious. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
No other injuries were reported at the scene.
