Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 Injures Three in San Jose
A two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 near San Jose resulted in three injuries on Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. in the northbound lanes near the Story Road exit. According to the California Highway Patrol, one vehicle overturned during the incident, requiring the assistance of emergency responders.
Medical teams from the San Jose Fire Department transported the injured—two adults and one child—to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities established lane closures while clearing the wreckage, leading to significant traffic delays in the area. A tow truck was called to remove the overturned vehicle.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
