Fatal crash in Camden County results in one death and three injuries.

A head-on collision on Highway 7 north of Route Z in Camden County resulted in one fatality and three injuries Thursday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m. on June 11, 2026. A northbound 2008 Chevrolet Silverado crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2012 Ford F-450 head-on.

The 45-year-old female driver from Edgewater, Colorado, was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 29-year-old male driver of the Ford F-450 from Lake Ozark, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries, also not wearing a seat belt. He was transported by Lake West Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

A 34-year-old male passenger from Newburg, Missouri, and a 40-year-old male passenger from Camdenton, Missouri, both in the Ford F-450, sustained moderate and major injuries, respectively. They were not wearing seat belts and were also taken to Lake Regional Hospital.

Both vehicles were deemed a total loss; the Chevrolet Silverado was towed by Hi Tech Towing and the Ford F-450 by Dependable Towing.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, this incident marks Troop F’s third traffic fatality for June and the 28th fatality of the year.
