A fatal motorcycle accident occurred Monday afternoon in Flint Township when a suspected impaired driver collided with a motorcyclist.
The crash took place around 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of West Bristol Road and Bristolwood Drive. According to the Flint Township Police Department, a 30-year-old woman from Burton was traveling eastbound on Bristol Road at a high rate of speed when she crossed into oncoming traffic, striking 69-year-old Gregory Green of Fenton.
Emergency responders transported both individuals to the hospital. Green was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, while the woman suffered minor injuries.
Authorities report that speeding and potential alcohol or drug impairment are suspected factors in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing, and the case will be referred to the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges.
