Motorcyclist Killed in Red Light Crash in Coral Springs
A 34-year-old motorcyclist, Daniel Beas Gamez, was killed after running a red light and colliding with another vehicle at the intersection of Wiles Road and Coral Ridge Drive at approximately 1:44 p.m. on June 18, according to authorities.
Beas Gamez, traveling north on Coral Ridge Drive, struck the passenger side of a vehicle making a left turn onto Wiles Road. The impact resulted in his death at the scene.
Emergency services responded, and no other individuals required hospitalization. The intersection was closed for several hours during the investigation, which remains ongoing.
Authorities urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
