KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two St. Joseph residents died in a motorcycle crash on Missouri Highway 6 early Sunday morning in Buchanan County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 3:55 a.m. when a 53-year-old man was riding a 2025 Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja motorcycle westbound at 68th Road.
The driver lost control during a curve, resulting in both the driver and a 47-year-old female passenger being ejected from the motorcycle. Authorities pronounced both individuals dead at the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, and no additional details regarding other vehicles or injuries have been released.
