Teen Hospitalized Following Motorcycle Crash with Police Vehicle in Oregon

A teenager was hospitalized after a motorcycle collided with an Oregon State Police vehicle on Highway 101 in Lincoln County on October 14 at approximately 3:30 p.m.

According to authorities, the crash involved a single motorcycle and a marked police car. The 17-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The officer in the police vehicle was not injured in the incident.

Emergency responders from the Oregon State Police and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office attended the scene. Traffic on a section of Highway 101 was briefly diverted as a tow truck removed the motorcycle from the roadway.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with authorities asking any witnesses to come forward with information. Lane closures were enforced during the initial response but have since reopened. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
