Deadly crash involving motorcycle and tractor-trailer closes North Union Street in Lower Swatara Township early Saturday morning.
LOWER SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
Lower Swatara Township Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred in the 2000 block of North Union Street at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.
According to authorities, the motorcycle rider died at the scene, while the tractor-trailer driver suffered no injuries.
Emergency responders provided lifesaving measures before Fire and EMS crews arrived to take over medical efforts.
The Dauphin County Accident Reconstruction Team is assisting in the ongoing investigation.
North Union Street was closed between Fulling Mill Road and Longview Drive for nearly five hours following the incident.
