KOOSKIA — A woman from Colorado is charged in the deaths of three motorcyclists following a collision on U.S. Highway 12 on June 16.
At approximately 4 p.m., a 2019 Ford F-150, driven by a 60-year-old female, attempted to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone, crossing the double yellow center line. The pickup collided with three motorcycles traveling eastbound, leading to the deaths of all three motorcyclists at the scene.
Idaho State Police confirmed the driver was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and later arrested on three counts of vehicular manslaughter. She is identified as Neale Brewer, who was booked into the Idaho County Jail shortly after the incident.
The identities of the deceased motorcyclists have not yet been released. Highway 12 was closed for approximately six and a half hours while emergency responders managed the scene.
The crash is under active investigation. Authorities have not specified further details about the ongoing inquiry.
