Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Laclede County on Friday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 2:50 p.m. on Highway 5 at Hazel Road.
According to authorities, a 2025 Nissan Pathfinder was turning left when it was struck from behind by a 2004 Toyota Camry, causing the Nissan to enter the southbound lane and collide with a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox.
The driver of the Toyota, a 28-year-old man from Lebanon, sustained serious injuries.
The Nissan driver, a 53-year-old woman also from Lebanon, and the Chevrolet driver, a 24-year-old woman from Eldridge, along with a four-year-old boy from Eldridge, suffered minor injuries.
All individuals were transported to local hospitals for treatment. MSHP confirmed that everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with no further details released at this time.
