JACKSONVILLE, Ala. — A single-vehicle crash on Nisbet Lake Road claimed the life of a Wellington man on Saturday morning.
Hunter C. Ramsey, 24, was riding a 2024 Yamaha YZF-R7 motorcycle when he lost control, struck a guide wire, and was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 12:49 a.m.
The crash occurred near Pleasant Valley Road, about seven miles north of Jacksonville in Calhoun County. Authorities said the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the incident.
