YACOLT, Wash. (Local News Wire) — A motorcyclist died following a crash on Northeast Worthington Road on October 1 at approximately 2:41 p.m.
Authorities reported the incident occurred near the 25200 block, where the motorcyclist was traveling southbound when they lost control and left the roadway.
The motorcycle collided with vegetation off the shoulder of the road, resulting in critical injuries to the rider.
Emergency crews responded promptly, and the rider was airlifted to a local hospital via Life Flight.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcyclist later succumbed to their injuries.
The Traffic Homicide Unit is conducting an investigation into the crash, and officials confirmed that the roadway will remain open as the investigation continues.
