GALLUP, NM – Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a potential witness to a vehicular homicide that occurred on February 3.
According to the GALLUP POLICE DEPARTMENT, the incident happened at the Miyamura Overpass on Interstate 40. Authorities are searching for 30-year-old Shawnessy Martinez, who may have witnessed the crash.
Investigators urge anyone with information on Martinez’s whereabouts to contact the Gallup Police Department or Metro Dispatch. Tips can also be submitted to McKinley County Crime Stoppers.
HACHITA, NM – Traffic is reduced to one lane on New Mexico 9 due to a commercial motor vehicle rollover incident reported Tuesday afternoon.
The NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION confirmed the crash occurred west of Hachita at approximately 3:17 p.m. Emergency crews are on the scene, and lanes remain closed from mile marker 36 to mile marker 37 near Well Road.
