Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident West of Alton

ALTON, MO – A 45-year-old man from Alton sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Missouri P, six miles west of Alton, on Wednesday.

Authorities reported that the man struck a deer, causing him to overturn the motorcycle. He was airlifted to Cox South in Springfield for medical treatment.

Springfield Man Injured in Semi-Truck Crash

GAINESVILLE, MO – A 36-year-old man from Springfield suffered serious injuries after his semi-truck ran off the road on Highway J, approximately 12 miles south of Gainesville.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, and the man was transported to a local hospital. The status of the investigation is pending.

Two Caulfield Residents Injured in Pickup-Tractor Collision

BAKERSFIELD, MO – Two men from Caulfield were injured in a crash on Highway 101, eight miles north of Bakersfield when a pickup truck collided with the rear of a John Deere tractor.

The 80-year-old driver of the pickup sustained moderate injuries, while the 80-year-old tractor driver suffered minor injuries. Emergency services attended to both individuals, and the investigation is ongoing.

Minnesota Man Injured in Oregon County Motorcycle Incident

OREGON COUNTY, MO – A 66-year-old man from Minnesota sustained minor injuries in a motorcycle accident on Highway 160, seven miles west of Alton, on Wednesday.

The man reportedly lost control while navigating a curve and veered off the road. He was treated at the scene by medical responders.
