Motorcycle Crash in Newry, Maine, Leaves One Dead
NEWRY, ME – A motorcycle accident claimed the life of one individual on Saturday afternoon, October 7, 2023, on Route 2.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. when a motorcycle, operated by 49-year-old Rodney Goodrum of Upton, collided with a pickup truck. Authorities confirmed that Goodrum died at the scene.
Emergency responders from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office and local fire departments provided medical assistance. The truck driver was unharmed.
