Two Motorcycles Crash in Wiscasset; Emergency Response on Scene
WISCASSET, ME — Two motorcycles were involved in a crash on Route 1 at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Saturday, October 7.
According to the WISCASSET POLICE DEPARTMENT, both riders suffered injuries and were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been confirmed.
Authorities reported that the crash resulted in lane closures while emergency personnel attended to the scene. The Maine State Police are currently investigating the incident, examining the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Witnesses noted that several bystanders assisted prior to emergency services arriving on site. No additional vehicles were involved in the accident.
Towing services were called to remove the damaged motorcycles from the roadway.
