BROOKINGS COUNTY — A motorcycle crash on Interstate 29 north of Brookings on August 1 left a North Dakota man injured.
John Dahlsted, 51, of Emerado, lost control of his 2019 Harley Davidson near mile marker 138 at 5:54 p.m., according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred approximately 5 miles north of Brookings.
Dahlsted was transported to Brookings Health System with unknown injuries. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, authorities said.
Responding agencies included fire departments from Brookings and White, Brookings Ambulance, and the Brookings Police Department.
