California Motorcycle Rider Dies in Unfortunate Accident.

SAN BERNARDINO, California — A 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a tension wire stemming from an earlier crash at an intersection on Tuesday morning.

Authorities have identified the victim as Fabian Zepeda, who was riding his motorcycle when he hit the wire, resulting in severe injuries that led to his decapitation. The incident occurred shortly after a separate collision involving a Ford Taurus that struck a wooden telephone pole, causing it to break and leave a wire hanging across the road.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, but Zepeda was pronounced dead shortly after the accident. The Ford Taurus driver has not been arrested, and initial observations indicated that driver did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding both incidents is ongoing. No additional injuries have been reported, and traffic in the area may have been affected due to the response and investigation.

According to reports, a GoFundMe page has been created in memory of Zepeda, where his wife described him as “a loving son, husband, brother, and friend.” She further noted that she is four months pregnant with their child.

This tragic incident highlights the potential dangers of roadway hazards and the importance of traffic safety.
