A head-on collision on Resort Road in Camden County left a 75-year-old man seriously injured on Sunday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m., about 374 feet south of Barnes Hollow Drive.
The man was operating a 2021 BMW R9T motorcycle southbound when it crossed the center line and collided with a northbound 2022 Lexus NX350.
Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to Lake Regional by Mercy EMS for treatment of serious injuries. He was reportedly wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
The Lexus, operated by a 70-year-old woman from Warsaw, Illinois, did not sustain injuries, as per the Highway Patrol report.
Both vehicles experienced moderate damage. Bledsoe’s towed the motorcycle from the scene, while the Lexus was driven away by its driver.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
