CANTON, Mich. – A motorcycle crash involving two vehicles resulted in multiple injuries on Monday. The incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Michigan Avenue, near Lilley Road, according to authorities.
A 36-year-old man from Ypsilanti was driving a Mini Cooper Countryman westbound when he crossed the median and struck a motorcycle heading east. The motorcyclist, a 52-year-old man from Monroe, subsequently collided with a Nissan Maxima operated by a 51-year-old man from Ypsilanti.
All individuals involved sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Their current conditions remain unclear.
An investigation into the crash is underway. Police reported that alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor.
