Columbus, GA (February 7, 2023) – A fatal motorcycle accident occurred in Columbus early Monday, February 6, resulting in the death of an adult male motorcyclist.
According to the Columbus Police Department, the crash happened around 1:20 a.m. on Milgen Road near Miller Road. A motorcyclist collided with at least one other vehicle; the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
Emergency responders, including Paramedics and Fire Crews, arrived at the scene. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. No other individuals were reported injured.
Authorities closed the roadway at the intersection for an extended period while clearing the scene.
