Luther Tyner Killed, Shanna Throckmorton Hospitalized after Fayetteville Crash on Raeford Road and Two Bale Lane
Fayetteville, North Carolina (July 18, 2023) – 33-year-old Luther Tyner was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon in Fayetteville.
According to a police report, the wreck occurred at around 3:22 p.m. July 16 on Raeford Road and Two Bale Lane.
60-year-old Michael Beasley was driving a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck and stopped at a stop sign.
Two motorcycles were driving down the road, cutting in and out of traffic.
A 2020 Harley Davidson driven by Tyner slammed into the back of the Ram. Daniel Felix, who was operating a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle, maintained control of his bike before going off the roadway.
Tyner was rushed to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was declared dead while receiving treatment. His passenger, Shanna Throckmorton, was also hospitalized and is in stable condition.
Additional information about the fatal wreck was not provided.
