2 Killed in South Weber Accident on Weber Drive near Canyon Meadows Drive

South Weber, Utah (July 3, 2023) – Two people were killed after a motorcycle crash on Weber Drive in South Weber Monday evening.

According to the Davis County Sheriff’s, the crash occurred around 4 p.m. on South Weber Drive near Canyon Meadows Drive.

The motorcycle was traveling eastbound when they could not negotiate a curve and collided with a westbound truck.

Two adults in the bike, only identified as a man, 50, and a mid-40-year-old woman, were ejected from the motorcycle and were declared deceased at the crash site.

The victim’s names were upheld pending notification of the next of kin.

The truck driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Both directions of South Weber Driver were closed for several hours during the on-scene investigation.

Speed and impairment were not believed to have played a role in the collision.

UHP is investigating to determine the cause of the wreck.
