Geneva County, Ala. (WDNews) — Christopher Dewayne Holmes, 36, of Chancellor, died Tuesday following a motorcycle crash at State Highway 27 and County Road 72.
According to the Geneva County Coroner’s Office, Holmes was involved in a two-vehicle accident and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Geneva County Sheriff’s Department, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), and Enterprise Rescue responded to the incident.
Authorities reported that the investigation into the crash is ongoing. No additional details regarding the second vehicle or injuries have been confirmed at this time.
