Motorcycle Crash in Darke County Leaves Rider Injured
DARK COUNTY, OH – A motorcycle crash occurred on U.S. 36 on Sunday night, resulting in one injury.
Authorities responded to the incident in the 7000 block of U.S. 36 at approximately 9:49 p.m. Deputies and medics arrived at the scene following reports of an injury crash involving a single motorcycle.
Keegan Wortley, 20, of Lebanon, Indiana, was traveling eastbound when he failed to negotiate a turn, causing the motorcycle to leave the roadway. Wortley was ejected from the bike during the incident.
He was subsequently transported via CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital. The extent of his injuries remains unknown at this time.
The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation into the crash.
