Delhi Twp., MI – Two men died, and another was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on northbound US-127 early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. near I-96 when a car driven by a 28-year-old Lansing man veered off the roadway, crossing over I-96, according to authorities. The vehicle had two passengers, both 39-year-old men from Holt, who were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash, with speed and alcohol considered possible contributing factors. Both directions of US-127 were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
