WABAUNSEE COUNTY — One person was injured in a motorcycle accident on Old K4 Road at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Michael Ray Rohr, 65, of Newton, was riding a 2024 KTM 500 westbound on Old K4 Road, located nine miles north and one mile west of Bushong, Kansas. Rohr lost control of the motorcycle, which subsequently separated from him and came to rest in the northbound ditch.
Emergency Medical Services transported Rohr to Stormont Vail Hospital. Authorities confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
